To kick-start discussion and debate at the inaugural Zero Emissions Bus (ZEB) Forum, Arup and UITP are excited to share this discussion paper.

Providing a brief state of play and capturing perspectives from people across industry and Government, the paper explores the opportunities, challenges, and priorities people are considering in the transition towards a zero emissions bus future in Australia and New Zealand.

We explore:

• Is now the time for coordinated, significant investment into the development of a ZEB ecosystem as a nation building exercise?
• Could transforming our bus system be a catalyst for wider economic, and sustainable change?
